Before Eva's Bridals of Chicago expanded to what it is today, it first began in 1963 as a tiny one-woman operation in Elmwood Park. Carrying only 6 designers in a 900 square foot store, the owner quickly saw the success of her bridal store and decided to move the business down the street to a location five times the size of her first store. Slowly people came to know the name of Eva's.

For 13 years, Eva's flourished at their newest location, building their reputation among brides and designers, and establishing themselves with the Better Business Bureau. And once again, their success forced them to expand.

In 1989, Eva's Bridals made their final and most successful move of all. Relocating to a building almost ten times the size of their very first store, Eva's was finally able to accommodate all of their brides. Once they had the space, the owners quickly went to work. Their first creation was the Midwest Room, a special room which housed hundreds of stock dresses that could be taken home the same day. Brides who needed a wedding gown in a hurry loved this idea and the Midwest Room became an instant success. We are proud to stand by the fact that we are the original salon to "Create an outlet store within our salon."

Today, Eva's remains one of the oldest and most trusted full-service bridal salons in Illinois.  Carrying over 60 designers and 1,000 dresses from the most celebrated designers, we now has the largest selection of bridal gowns and bridesmaid dresses in the Midwest.
